Beach Dental Care is pleased to announce that we are open and treating patients. As always, we appreciate your support and remain committed to helping you achieve optimal oral health. As part of this commitment, we have made a number of COVID-related updates and changes to our office and normal treatment protocol. We want you to feel confident that your safety and comfort are our highest priority. Here’s what you can expect at your next appointment.

First, we ask that you come to your appointment unaccompanied if possible. This helps us to limit the number of individuals in our office at any given time. We also ask that you wear a cloth face covering unless instructed otherwise and maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others at all times. When you arrive, you will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire and your temperature will be taken to ensure that you are symptom-free. You will be seated promptly to prevent crowding. We always encourage patients to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival, which our office will provide.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, we have modified our reception area to optimize patient and staff safety. For instance, we have enlarged the waiting area by adding chairs to the hallway. This helps to ensure proper social distancing practices. We have also installed plexiglass barriers at our front desk for maximum safety while interacting with our staff. Appointments are spread out to minimize capacity and allow our team to regularly sanitize and clean in between patients.

We have also taken measures to improve the quality and cleanliness of the air circulating throughout the office. Air purifiers have been installed in every room, and a specially made disinfectant fogger is used before opening and at the end of each day. Our office has been outfitted with an H-14 Hepa Filtration system, which has been shown to eliminate 99.995% of viruses and bacteria.

To keep you safe in the exam room, we utilize the advanced technology of an EOS system, which is designed to significantly reduce droplets and aerosol spray that is produced during treatment. We also employ the use of a medical grade UV-C light disinfectant system, which is highly effective in killing bacteria, germs and viruses. And, of course, all rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by our dedicated staff in between each appointment.
